My father in law enjoys fishing so much that I decided to make him a Fisherman Birthday Card. Once again, I have used Mo's Digital Pencil stamp. Love her stamps!
This is a close up of my copic coloring of the Fisherman.
Wood is so different to do and kind of fun. I always seem to get a different color of wood after every attempt I make. This boat was used with E29, E25, E35 & E31.
Yep, my second "Blog Challenge" Yikeee :) I decided to enter "Baby It's Cold Outside" card that I made. The Challenge is a great place to enter your work and look at some great art work as well. Check it out
Ok, I tried something new this year. I made a few calendars this year and sent them out instead of Christmas Cards. I put magnetic on the back so it can sit on a fridge or file cabinet. It was really fun making these and I am open to what everyone thinks. Would you be happy if you got one of these in your mail box or would you think, "oh no, not another item for the fridge" :)
Yep, another Christmas card! I think I have made about 40 cards this Christmas season. It must because the cold weather and snow came early and just got in feeling like Christmas.
I decided this year I was going to give my long distant Granddaughters gift cards. So, I made some bifold cards and put pockets inside to hold the gift cards. I made 5 of them today alone. So easy and so much fun to do!
This card has been entered into the Sketch Something Challenge along with so many other beautiful cards!
Well, this is my very first time to enter a "Card Challenge". There are so many beautiful entries to the challenge! So many talented card makers! This card was fun to make and I really don't expect it to win, but what the heck.
It was a very "Priceless" time for me to be able to sit and watch Brianne sleep in my arms after she danced her night away at her Mother's wedding! This moment is a time that I will cherish for life!
This picutre was fun to do! With the awsome template of "La France" that I purchased at the Portland Oregon Craft Show, it made it easier to put together and fun!
Recently I have the honor of joining a group of wonderful ladies to a weekend of scrapbooking, fun and tons of laughter! I even managed to get 12 pages done for my grand girls scrap books! I hope to post some pictures of the "PEEPS" soon! This is my Brianne just last year having fun in the snow.
Yep, another Christmas Card finished! Soon I will have all my cards done and ready to be mailed. I really enjoy sending Christmas Cards out as much as receving them.... "hint, hint".
My Daughter is a "Brown Owl" in Windsor Ontario for a group of little Brownies and enjoys this very much. The Brownie uniforms are navy blue and orange. Her birthday is coming and thought this would be a great birthday card for her. I can't wait to see what she thinks of this idea! Happy Birthday Jen!
Well here I am again in only October and making Christmas cards! This is just not like me but I have really been feeling like it is time for Christmas. This is a new product that I have tried using calling "Flower Soft". I put glitter sprinkles on top of the door and on the step. It pops out so good when you are looking at the card itself and not just a picture.
I always seem to struggle to make a masculine card. I LOVE fall and thought I would combine my love for fall with my love for my Dad. Happy Birthday to a awsome Dad who means so much to me! It's safe to put this on my blog even though Dad's birthday ins't until Oct. 1st, he doesn't use the internet or computer :)
Today for some reason I was just in the mood to make a couple of Christmas cards. This is not like me at all but I have to say, I did enjoy making them! It just seems like as soon as the kids go back to school, Christmas is just around the corner.
Already, it is our little baby Haylie's second birthday. Though I know she won't understand me making this card for her as she is so young, I still wanted to do it for her. I wish so much that I were with her for her birthday but someday that will happen. Love to our little Haylie!
My dear friend is going through some rough times in her life right now, and I wanted to let her know that I was thinking about her. Things will get better and life will come back to normal again real soon! Hang in there my friend!
My niece Rhonda Joan, is celebrating her birthday in Windsor Ontario. It just seems like yesterday when she was a silly little girl and now she is a beautiful lady! Rhonda, I hope your birthday was a fun one and you got to do all you wanted to do!
A very dear friend of mine (that we just reunited) just got married a couple of weeks ago. Deb, I wish you and Brad all the very best and I look forward to wishing you this in person!
My Mom lives in Windsor Ontario and had to wait almost a week past Mother's Day to get her card in the mail. My crazy busy schedule put me a little behind and it takes SO long to get a card from the State of Washington to Windsor, Ontario which didn't help! My "Dear Mom" is SO special to me that I wanted to make this special card for her and only wished it would have arrived before Mom's Day instead of after. Happy belated Mother's Day to my special Mom!
Just a little special card for my long distant Mother In Law.
She always appreciates the time and work that is put into a card for her.
It is safe to put this on line before Mother's Day since I know she isn't an Internet Mom.
Today, my coworker and friend's little 4 year old daughter is having heart surgery. My thoughts, prayers and love go to little Karsyn, Mommy & Daddy (Mike & Tracey) along with the family to help Karsyn get through this. Daddy says Karsyn is a strong little girl and we can't wait to see her all better!
My girlfriend (Melody) never wants anyone to know it is her birthday. Several times in the past, I have not said much on her birthday but, not this year! However, I did keep it a "lil' secret" just like she wants it to be. Happy Birthday Melody!
"It's Just Not Fair" that I couldn't spend time with my special friend on her birthday.
I sent her this card knowing she would understand how I would have loved to spend a day with her but due to the miles apart, that just wasn't going to happen. Happy Birthday Carol!
My wonderful grandmother turned 98 years old! Though he mind does not allow her to remember me, I have so many wonderful memories of my Grandmother. I just made her this special card and sent it to her in Windsor Ontario Canada. Like I said, poor old tired Grandma can't recall who I am but I still enjoyed making this card just for my Grandmother
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Joanie Holmes and I live in a little town called La Center WA. I am married with five adult children and seven beautiful grandchildren. I am a proud Canadian from Windsor Ontario and plan to retire in Windsor with my many dear friends and family come 2016.
I am married with two Maltese babies, Shelly and Mindy. My husband is so supportive of my time that I have to spend in my craft room. I am a full time sales representative so my time is limited. My craft room is truly my stress releaser! I LOVE my Copic Markers and you will probably see that by looking through my blog.
Thanks for taking the time to view my blog and I hope to see you on “My Follower” list!
